Our Founder
Leah is a Black-British born author, script editor who has worked in the British television industry since she graduated from Kingston University. Here she studied an undergraduate degree in filmmaking. Lifted&Brown was founded by Leah in order to fufill her desire to uplift her community and to empower the new generation of young minds. Leah is from both a Jamaican and Nigerian background but has grown up more closely tied to her Caribbean heritage which inspires much of her writing.
